Will Overman
Will Overman is a Virginia-raised singer-songwriter currently based in Nashville, TN. Often referred to as the “Appalachian John Mayer,” Overman is known for his dynamic vocal delivery and heartfelt lyrics, wrapped in an "Americana" style that reflects his restless spirit.
Overman began his musical journey while attending the University of Virginia, fronting the collaborative Will Overman Band on weekends and performing throughout the East Coast. He quickly gained a loyal fanbase, playing at renowned venues and festivals such as Merlefest and Roosterwalk.
After leaving college, Overman transitioned to a solo career, recording his first releases in his home state of Virginia. His Crossroads EP (2017) and The Winemaker’s Daughter LP (2021) marked the beginning of a new chapter, with Will embarking on a heavy touring schedule before moving to Nashville to continue writing and recording. Collaborating with respected Nashville musicians and producers Bobby Holland and Brad Sample, Will’s singles “Virginia Is For Lovers” and “Names” showcase the most authentic expression of his artistry to date.
With a powerful voice and strong convictions, Will Overman is steadily building a name for himself, performing across the US at festivals, headlining clubs, and supporting artists from various genres, including David Nail, Boy Named Banjo, Joe Pug, and Town Mountain.
