Michael R. J. Roth

Michael R. J. Roth has been called "a cool dark troubadour...not unlike Townes Van Zandt" with songs known for intriguing imagery and "deep, profound truth." He is the 2024 Grand Prize winner of the American Songwriter lyric contest, and lyric winner of many national and international competitions, including the USA Songwriting Competition, The Great American Song Contest, and the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Lori McKenna called him "Brilliant." He currently resides in Panama City, Florida.
