Claire Kelly, a talented singer, songwriter, and self-proclaimed optimist, embarked on her musical journey from Milwaukee to Nashville in 2016, dedicating herself to a full-time pursuit of her music and songwriting career. Since then, her undeniable talent has taken her on international tours, secured placements for her songs on primetime television, and garnered recognition through multiple songwriting contests, including a prestigious accolade from the renowned Bluebird Cafe. With her ability to craft vivid, emotive narratives, Claire's songs have drawn comparisons to revered artists like Guy Clark and John Prine, blending sentimentality with wry humor in a captivating way. Over the years, she has honed her skills in songwriting for film and TV, resulting in her music gracing screens on major networks like ABC and HBO Max, as well as featuring on the popular Netflix series Love is Blind. In 2021, Claire's exceptional songwriting prowess earned her finalist positions in prestigious competitions, including The Kerrville Folk Festival's "Grassy Hill New Folk Songwriting Competition" and the "Songwriter Serenade" contest in La Grange, TX. As anticipation builds for her upcoming project, Hopeful Romantic, set to release in May 2023, Claire Kelly continues to impress with her remarkable musicianship and heartfelt lyrics.
