Since then, she has continued to nurture her passion for music, transitioning into writing her own songs, with over 40 original compositions to her credit. Her single, "Dreams I Forgot About," released in April 2020, has resonated with listeners, garnering over fourteen thousand streams on Spotify. Her debut EP was released in December 2018, showcasing her artistry and establishing her presence in the music scene. Chaislyn's talents extend beyond music-making, as her music video for "Carole" was recognized with the Best Video award at the Calcasieu Parish Film Festival in 2018, highlighting her artistic versatility.
