Ashe Watson

Meet Ashe Watson, a talented musician whose journey into the music industry began at a young age, surrounded by the sounds of his uncle's home music studio. At just 8 years old, Ashe was captivated by the synthesizers and keyboards played by his uncle, Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Brandon Barnes. This early exposure sparked a lifelong love for music that still burns passionately within Ashe to this day. Ashe comes from a family of musicians, with his grandfather serving as a high school band and choir director for over six decades. Growing up in a small town in northeast Alabama, Ashe's musical style began to take shape as he absorbed various influences. He developed an R&B flair from spending time in the studio with his uncle and Grammy-nominated artist Brian McKnight, who were working on McKnight's debut album. Additionally, Ashe's Alabama roots led him to discover and embrace a love for country music. At 18, Ashe followed in his uncle's footsteps and moved to New York to pursue music as a full-time career. He honed his skills as a songwriter with a major publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing, collaborating with renowned artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars, among others. Throughout his musical journey, Ashe also founded the country/pop band August Ashe, which gained success playing shows alongside rising artists like Sam Hunt, Riley Green, and Jordan Davis. After nearly two decades of writing music and being on the road, Ashe decided to pursue another path in life and achieved his dream of earning a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Despite his successful new career, Ashe's passion for music remains undiminished. He continues to write and record music regularly, fueling the same fire that ignited so many years ago. Ashe Watson's love for music is an eternal flame that will never be extinguished.
